Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has declared September 9, 2017 ‘BILLY JOEL DAY’ in
Philadelphia, and gave legendary musician Billy Joel an official proclamation from the city. The proclamation is to honor Billy Joel, who has become the first artist ever to perform four consecutive years at Citizens Bank Park and once again, sets the record for live performances by any artist in the stadium’s history.

Also in attendance to celebrate this momentous occasion was Live Nation Philadelphia Regional President Geoff Gordon, Executive Vice President, Philadelphia Phillies Dave Buck.

Billy Joel performs in front of a sold-out crowd tonight at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. This is his fourth consecutive sellout as well.
