Atlantic City, NJ | March 1, 2019 – Set to a backdrop of sun, sand and surf, the Vans Warped Tour will celebrate its 25th Anniversary with a special two-day extravaganza on the beach in Atlantic City on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30, 2019. Atlantic City is one of only three cities to host the Warped Tour and the only one on the entire East Coast.

“The Vans Warped Tour holds a very special place in our hearts and in our history.” explains Steve Van Doren, vice president of global events and promotions at Vans. “It was through the annual tour that we were able to bring music and action sports to youth across the globe for over two decades. We are really excited to partner with Kevin and the Warped team to put on a once in a lifetime experience to celebrate the tour’s final year.”

The Vans Warped Tour anniversary lineups are packed with acts that represent decades of fan favorites like Bad Religion, Circa Survive, Frank Iero, Less Than Jake, Save Ferris, Simple Plan, Sleeping With Sirens, The Offspring, The Starting Line, Thrice, We The Kings, and more!

Each event will also feature additional acts unique to its celebration.  Atlantic City boasts bands like A Day To Remember, Blink-182, Bowling For Soup, Glassjaw, Reel Big Fish, and hometown heroes Taking Back Sunday and Valencia

Rounding out the lineups and staying true to its roots, the Vans Warped Tour is giving a nod to unique up-and-coming acts such as Bad Cop / Bad Cop, Elder Brother, Not Ur Girlfrenz, Stacked Like Pancakes, Silent Planet, Trophy Eyes and more.

The event is produced by Live Nation in association with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) and the City of Atlantic City as part of the Atlantic City BeachFest.

Over the last five years, the Atlantic City BeachFest has featured performances by P!nk, The Chainsmokers, Maroon 5, Zac Brown Band, Sam Hunt, Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band, Brantley Gilbert, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum Bell Biv DeVoe, DMX and many more.

“The CRDA is again excited to sponsor beach concerts with Live Nation. This year’s festival alone will bring tens of thousands of music tourists to the resort and confirm Atlantic City’s place as the live entertainment capital of the East Coast,” said CRDA Chairman Robert E. Mulcahy.

“We are excited that Atlantic City and Live Nation have partnered to bring this awesome event to our great city,” said Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam. “We are looking forward to this special celebration that will bring more excitement to our beach.”

ABOUT VANS WARPED TOUR
The Vans Warped Tour was the largest traveling music festival in the United States, and the longest-running touring music festival in North America. Originally conceived by founder Kevin Lyman in 1995 as an eclectic alternative rock festival, with a focus on punk rock, over the years the tour grew to include a multitude of genres, including metal, hip hop, reggae, pop and more. It established itself as one of the best tours to attend to discover emerging acts, to learn more about wonderful non-profits and companies who are working to make a positive impact on the world that surround them, and to meet like-minded friends.

The tour also cemented its place in history by bringing alternative rock and skate culture from the underground to the forefront of global youth culture, while at the same time helping those in need through non-profit and eco initiatives.

Over the past two decades, Vans Warped Tour built a legacy as the must attend summer festival for rock and music lovers alike. Since its start in 1995, it provided a platform for established as well as up-and-coming artists, with alumni including blink182, No Doubt, Sublime, Beck, Katy Perry, NOFX, Limp Bizkit, Black Eyed Peas, Green Day, Eminem, YellowcardBad Religion, and countless others.

Alternative Press readers voted the Vans Warped Tour as the “Best Tour/Festival” and Rolling Stone called it “America’s Most Successful Festival”.
